Tournament of Tomorrow Golf Tournament

Tournament of Tomorrow Golf fundraising event. The event will benefit GCTC, a residential campus that houses at-risk youth between the ages of 15-18. The residents are sent to this spacious 57-acre facility located in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forest in New Waverly, Texas as an alternative to juvenile detention or through Child Protective Services for a stay of approximately 7-9 months. During their stay at GCTC the residents are given the opportunity to earn their high school diploma or equivalent at their own pace. In addition, the residents earn a vocational trade certificate that allows them to gain real-time experience in trades such as culinary arts, building trades, auto mechanics, as well as a couple of other areas. As a result, our residents leave our program able to lead productive and rewarding lives. And this is just a small touch of what we offer the youth that reside with us. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used in conjunction with our youth activities fund for events and community service throughout Walker and Montgomery Counties, however, we serve the youth from counties Texas wide.
