Event Description:
Join the Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Republic of Texas Presidential Library to honor Sam Houston on the anniversary of his death. At 10 a.m. in the Memorial Museum Rotunda, the local Forrest Masonic Lodge No. 19 will have a masonic funeral service. Following this ceremony, the Steamboat House will be open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to pay your respects and see the inside of the last home Sam Houston lived and died in.
