Join the SHSU Kappa Alpha fraternity in kicking off Founder's Day with live music and BBQ! Saturday March 23 from 10am to 6pm, listen to guest speaker Charlie Melton, a Navy seal, enjoy music by Canaan Bryce, take a chance at a raffle and eat some great BBQ, featuring chicken, brisket, sausage and boudin! Cost per plate ranges from $17 to $27 and 50% of the event proceeds will help provide wheelchairs for veterans who have lost their legs in combat, through the Operation K.A.R.E. organization.
