Event Description:
The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the newly expanded Sam Houston Statue Visitors Center set for Friday, July 20th. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., including the dedication of the William Hodges Education Building. There will be live music along with A Taste of Huntsville featuring local restaurants. Oversized board games will be available on the covered porches for entertainment. The new large meeting rooms will be available for rentals beginning July 14th, which will be available from 7 to 9 a.m. weekdays, in the evenings, and on weekends.
